Dirty Dog Sunglasses were founded in 1980 by a collective of leading scientists and designers.  From their dedication to innovation a sunglass unsurpassed in style and performance has evolved with the discovery of TR90 – A lightweight and virtually unbreakable compound.  Dirty Dog’s Scientific Research Department were able to provide their design team with material at the leading edge of sunglass technology.  Their designers set about rigorously testing frames composed of TR90 while their scientists experimented with lens technology attempting to create the complete sunglass, polyfilter polycarbonate a virtually shatterproof material which blocks 100% of harmful UV Rays. The lenses were also decentrised for optimum visual performance.  A TR90 Frame with a polycarbonate lens allowed their design team to create contemporary styles without sacrificing strength or performance.  Their team had come up with the most forward thinking high performance sunglass yet, an achievement that is maintained today.
